[Cairns, Australia] – Leading waste management company Tropical Skips has recently made a significant investment in both state-of-the-art machinery and a skilled workforce to enhance their ability to sort and manage mixed waste skips efficiently. This initiative aims to divert a substantial amount of recyclable materials from landfills, contributing to a more sustainable future.
With an initial investment of $200,000 and ongoing monthly operational costs of $20,000, Tropical Skips has committed to this environmentally conscious endeavor. This significant investment demonstrates the company’s dedication to making a positive impact on the local environment and economy.
The investment has also resulted in the creation of four additional jobs in the Cairns region, underlining the company’s commitment to supporting the local community and economy. These newly created positions will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the waste sorting operations.
Tropical Skips has employed cutting-edge technology and skilled personnel to meticulously separate materials received from mixed waste skips. This rigorous sorting process identifies recyclable materials, ensuring they are diverted away from landfills.
