Nevada Lithium CEO Stephen Rentschler joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share exciting developments at the Bonnie Claire lithium project in Nevada. The company has initiated a seismic reflection survey in the quest for lithium brines. This survey employs sonar or radar-type technology, using sound waves to uncover underground structures, particularly areas of faulting or upheaval, which can serve as entry points for the extraction of lithium sediments into lithium brines.
Rentschler emphasizes that this seismic survey is not replacing their ongoing work but is operating in parallel with their existing activities. Nevada Lithium's Bonnie Claire project is vast, with plenty of room for diverse initiatives. The ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) remains intact, focusing on borehole mining to extract lithium sediments from underground.Rentschler highlights the potential for multiple projects on this expansive property, aligning with the company's innovative approach.
The CEO stressed the long-term vision, underlining the increasing global demand for lithium, mainly driven by the electric vehicle industry. In these challenging market conditions, the company is focused on securing future lithium supply and maximizing the value extraction potential from their diverse projects.
