ECR Minerals PLC (AIM:ECR) Managing Director Nick Tulloch speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive about his recent appointment to the role as well as the discovery of gold bearing quartz veins at the Flaggy Creek area of the company's Lolworth Project in Queensland, Australia Tulloch starts by giving an overview of his first month in the role, highlighting that he joined ECR with established business associate Mike Whitlow who serves as the Chief Operating Officer.
The duo have been actively evaluating the company's portfolio of properties since joining in September, and Tulloch says that despite some choppiness in ECR Minerals' history they aim to revitalise the company's reputation and potential. Recent announcements hint at the company's strategic direction and Tulloch anticipates improved clarity in the coming months. Tulloch drew attention to recent promising signs across three distinct regions at the Lolworth Project in Queensland, saying that he sees "genuine bonafide exploration potential within that property." Further soil sampling is planned.
Tulloch emphasises the diverse range of opportunities ECR already possesses, dispelling notions of the company being a "one-trick pony." Tulloch stresses the importance of financial prudence while also underlining the company's growth-oriented nature.
