TRU Precious Metals CEO Joel Freudman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has appointed professor Garth Earls to serve as its project evaluation advisor within the Technical Committee.
Earls' role will involve providing technical expertise and conducting assessments related to the development potential of TRU Precious Metals' gold-copper Golden Rose Project in central Newfoundland. He will also evaluate the technical and economic viability of other natural resources opportunities as they arise.
Freudman explained that Earls brings to the team over 40 years of professional experience in mineral exploration and mining, both in Ireland and internationally. His notable achievements include being part of the team that discovered the 6-million-ounce Curraghinalt gold deposit in Northern Ireland.
Earls has worked extensively on gold and base metal deposits and mineralization in Ireland and the UK. He has held various leadership roles, including serving as a former director of the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland, a former director of the CSA Group, and a past chairman of the Geosciences Committee of the Royal Irish Academy.
Additionally, he is currently responsible for delivering the Economic Geology course at University College Cork, Ireland, and serves as the executive chairman of International Geoscience Services.
The appointment of Professor Earls reflects TRU Precious Metals' commitment to strengthening its technical expertise and project evaluation capabilities. It aligns with the company's strategy to leverage the extensive experience and knowledge of industry experts to assess and advance its projects.
Freudman also shared with Proactive the company has released its third-quarter financial numbers that show a strong cash balance thanks to the strategic investment of $3 million by Ormonde Mining. The company remains in a solid financial position to continue advancing its flagship Golden Rose Project.
